Blackberry users... there is some sour news. It seems that they will stop making those devices that you love - soon. It is an eerie universe we are in. Frankly, it is so great to have a real keyboard and not rely on an unreliable touch screen. Well, there we are.

Rush Limbaugh has lung cancer. Sadly, it is severe. Hey, this world is certainly not so nice. Basically, we often find out when it is too late for us.

Brazil

Brazil has found a puzzling virus. It is of unknown origin. About 90% of its genes are new. Hey, we could make a case... like for an alien organism. Stranger things may indeed occur.

economy

There are those who rig our economy. Well, in their own favor of course. Sadly, it does seem that things get worse every year. Hey, that is how it seems. Please blame the internet for the mega mall that goes away. Remember to blame robust robots when our jobs are sent over seas.

Technology

Technology matches on. However, people who lived ages ago... like they were not so different from us in many ways. Alas, there was a lot less tech and less progress, but they made do with what was available to em. Maybe, in it all, there is a lesson for us.

Here is a teleporting man. It was caught on a security camera. Well, it makes me feel a lot less secure. There we are. Basically, teleportation technology might pick up its pace. Let us indeed hope so.

Schools

Schools are getting into computer-based artificial intelligence in a major way. Yeah, that is the future we can see. Actually, there might be a detour in the road for us. Yeah, a lot of wonderful high paying jobs are going away. Robots are taking over. Well, it is like being inside a science fiction movie. Definitely, one that is long on fiction and short on science.

mountain peaks

Ah yes, mountain peaks are iconic. Do enjoy going all around our enormous universe. Still, there are some many places and so many spaces.

Reading

Reading is sadly not as popular as it once was. Actually, there are many reasons. People are busy and reading a big book might consume more time than we can spare. Also, information is quite often simply a click away. Just hit a keyboard or press on a screen. Quickly, an answer appears.

The down jones industrial average is up. Well, 30,000 is near. Please be careful as it might go down a lot soon. Yeah, that is the feeling in my bones mon ami. Best that we exercise some care.

Time Traveler has dire predictions for the year 2749 - wow. Fellow colleagues, this sounds to me... like a science fiction movie. Well, one that is very long on fiction and very ♞ um short on science.

gig smart

Temporary workers are now using gig smart to find work on the web, but it is low in pay. Ah yes, this is part of our gig economy. Sadly, it means more hours and less money. Well, get used to this world as regular jobs are becoming more scarce.

Star bucks

Starbucks is a great place to do computer programming. Well, it can get a bit um noisy some. Hey, we got great news. It seems that Starbucks will open more stores in lower income areas. Please beef up your internet as the WiFi is slow to the absolute max.

Disney

Disney drops fox now. Actually, that facet of the enterprise should never surprise us. Live and let live says to me.

winter

Hey, winter is with us. Most wish there a warm season. OK, so that is summer. Get ready for some more snow.

Lithium sulfur batteries

Lithium-sulfur batteries could be coming soon. This would be great for electric cars. Ah yes, they would have more range. Please let me add, sulfur is cheap and working with it is easy. Still, there are some minor issues.

Facebook

Facebook has gone from glorious leader to vile villain now. They use to be a hero, but are now seen as a zero. Ah yes, we know that the times do change on us. Still, it is obvious that hark, our Mark be still in the park and it is getting a bit um dark.

AI companies

Artificial intelligence firms are doing super max. Hey, this could mean... like more jobs for computer programmers. Yeah, we do like AI companies.  Finally, things are looking up. Let us hope so. To tell you the truth, I did not like last year. That said, robots could eventually replace us.

Disney

Disney is celebrating the year of the rat now. Well, all is not great in the house of mouse. Let me tell you. Artificial intelligence could quickly replace real actors as in REAL soon. Yo, we do say real not um reel, but there we are. Technology does indeed march fast forward at a furious pace.

Reeaz Khan

Reeaz Khan killed a 92 year old woman. He told cops... that he often gets uncontrollable urges.  Definitely, this is such a sad day for us. Well, it could become the beginning of a terrible year. Certainly do wish that we are wrong. Look on the bright side as we did avoid a war.

Books

Books are just not cool no more. Don't know if they ever were. Frankly, I cannot remember an epoch when it was cool to be a nerd or a book worm. Yet, we do have a lot of content on the internet for us. Libraries remind me of a museum.

spaces

Do we see a lot of empty spaces? Retail stores keep on going even worse. Expect the large malls to go away. Oh wow, they are so expensive. Also, it was hard to find parking spaces.

our journey

Here is what I say on our journey. The road is long winding and narrow. Certainly, we are not sure... like on where we are going. For example, right now, there is an AI software that can turn you onto an anime.

gig economy

Laws do hurt workers in our gig economy. Expect work to dry up. Well, that does not surprise me. Sadly, we have politicians who claim to help us. Instead, their rules and regs send jobs overseas.

new year

Oh wow, it is here, the new year. Finally, the amazing 2020 is upon us. Do hope all the best for you. Well, the last decade was just not so nice. Here is me hoping that God inscribes us for a good one.
