Yet, there are people alive now from that distant era. I wonder how people shall remember our time, not in the far future, but the near now. Right now we have lost approx 200,000 to 300,000 acres. That is a lot of crop. Planting corn is out of the question now. Yeah, even short season corn. Rich bottom land has been consumed by the river. OK maybe farmers can plant soy in june. However, forecast call for more rain. That means another lost year. This is affect prices in your grocery. Higher prices for corn means higher prices for milk and eggs.

Blekko is a new search engine. It is trying to make a name. Their approach is to minimize spam. Like that is a problem max major. People like Blekko have to fight spam every year. Basically, spam is getting worse. There are millions of spam pages. It is those that make finding results hard instead of easy.

Global warming is affecting our seas. They are becoming saltier due to more evaporation, but that is not all for us. Wind patterns may change soon. It is important to work on saving our seas.
